Based at the Wellington North Badminton Stadium in Tawa (however travel will be required for work across the Wellington North region – north of Ngaio to south of Pukerua Bay), this is a 1-year fixed term part-time (25 hours per week). There is the possibility to combine both the Development Community Manager and Officer role based on the ideal candidate for a full-time position.

The aim of the role is to coordinate and deliver Wellington North Badminton Shuttle Time programmes and assist with any Wellington North Badminton hosted events and competitions. The role is most busy and demanding during the March-October period with a quieter period between November and February. And working over some evening hours and weekend may be required.

Wellington North Badminton is seeking a person with excellent time management and communication skills, event, programme and business development experience and a passion in community sports and working with children of all ages. They need to be a real self-starter and have an eye for detail.
