Badminton fun for children ages 6-17 years. 12:30pm-15:30pm Monday 15, Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17, Thursday 18 and Friday 19 July 2024.

$30 for one session, $140 for all 5 sessions.

Children should bring a drink bottle and some food for snacks.  We ask that children wear clothes suitable for running around in. We provide racquets and shuttles for use on the courts.

This programme is targeted at young players, it focuses on giving children an insight into badminton and also covers basic physical literacy.

This includes learning about Grips, chasse movement and lunge, backhand and forehand net shots, Backhand and forehand lifts and high serves. Also, the rules of the game and how to play with others. The children will be learning skills, then have plenty of game time in order to practice these skills.

We stress the importance of confidence, competence, knowledge and understanding of the sport. We focus on having learning and also having fun!
