We are saddened to learn the recent news of the alleged serious sexual misconduct concerning a former Badminton Wellington coach. We wish to extend our support to the families of Badminton Wellington at this distressing time. Here at Wellington North Badminton, we are confident that we have strong policies and processes in place to deal with any potential misconduct of our coaches and staff, and we take this very seriously.

We encourage players to speak up if they feel our staff and coaches' behaviour have been inappropriate and can assure urgent action will be taken. You can email us on complaints@wnba.org.nz. All complaints are assessed by the General Manager and a disciplinary committee convened by the Board of Wellington North Badminton. Alternative, you can utilise free services of the Sport and Recreation Complaints and Mediation Service commissioned by Sport New Zealand.
