It is our pleasure to invite members and players to submit nominations for the 2021 Wellington North Badminton Awards. A celebration of these achievements will be held in October at the 2021 Wellington North Badminton Awards Function, in conjunction with the Wellington North (A, B, C, D) Championships.
All nominations shall be for the qualifying period of the 2020 playing season starting from 1 January 2021. It would be great to give all deserving people in our badminton community some recognition in what’s been a challenging year for everyone. As a result of disruptions caused by COVID-19, many events had to be cancelled throughout 2020 which have impacted the way participants have experienced their badminton this year.
Candidates must be affiliated Wellington North Badminton members, and can be nominated for one or more categories online by Sunday 17 October 2021. All Award categories and criteria can be found below – it is important that all nominations are accompanied by supporting information.
